Synopsis
The Angel Uriel shows Enoch the circuits of the heavenly luminaries; the sun, moon, and stars. He begins by explaining how the sun rises in certain gates from the east and sets in certain gates for periods of 30, 30, and 31 days.
He also explains how the portions of light and dark are cast upon the earth during the movements throughout the year as the sun traverses the sky north and south. The days get longer, the nights get shorter, and visa versa as the 364 day year begins and ends.
